Description
The Escapist is looking for new and experienced writers to help build the site’s sports games coverage, specifically with regard to EA FC and NBA 2K. This is a fully remote contract position.
The Escapist is a website dedicated to the mature discussion of media, so we’re looking for awesome people who love games and want to write about them. While we’re focusing heavily on building our SEO coverage right now, news and features are also a big part of The Escapist’s brand, and you’d have the option to write for those sections as well.

Qualification / Requirements
Requirements: Excellent English language writing skills. Eagerness to learn and incorporate feedback. Must be a self-starter who can complete pieces in a timely manner and pitch trending ideas. A love of EA FC and/or NBA 2K. While this position is primarily focused on these two series, you will have the option to write on other sports games, so please let us know if you play any others! Preferred: If you've got any of the following, please note that in your cover letter: Familiarity with Google Trends. Experience writing SEO. Weekend availability.
